Wakame Tofu Salada

Cooking without a recipe is the best way as you may create something new and nice to eat!:) this is one of em...I love to eat variety of foods and in different colours at the same time. So,this is the reason I like to eat salads.Let me define the colours! Red-beetroot, green-cos lettuce, orange-tomato, white-tofu, and brown- lotus fruits. The colours are awesome!
Firstly, i steamed the organic tofu with wakame and some wolfberries for 8 minutes. Wakame seaweed is amazing! There are a lot of goodness for health. Let me name a few!

1. Extremely low in calories with only about five calories per serving with minimal fat.

2. Although high in sodium, it’s a good source of other minerals including magnesium, iodine, calcium, and iron.

3. It’s also high in vitamins A, C, E, and K as well as folate and riboflavin.

4. It’s also a source of lignans which are thought to play a role in preventing certain types of cancer, particularly breast cancer.

5. In fact, a study published in the journal Cancer Science in 2005 demonstrated that wakame seaweed effectively suppressed growth of breast tumors in rats.

6. Another area of interest relating to the health benefits of wakame seaweed is its role in promoting WEIGHT LOSS. A study carried out in Japan and presented at the national meeting of the American Chemical Society in September of 2008 showed that an ingredient found in this vegetable known as fucoxanthin promoted weight loss in rate by increasing the rate at which fat is broken down. The rats who received the wakame seaweed lost up to ten percent of their body weight. Although studies have yet to be conducted on humans, researchers are optimistic.

I would like to recommend this! 3 treasure which contains Brewer's yeast, raw wheat germ, soybean lecithin, black sesame, nori seaweed, and white sesame. It's a 100 % natural product. It can be added into soup, porridge, salad, fruit juices and can be toppings in any foods you like. This is a health booster! It's cheap and can be used for ages. Just a tablespoon will do!
So, here is the mixtures of vegetables I used in this salada. It contains 1 tomato, 1 cucumber, 1 lotus fruit, 1 beetroot and a few leaves of cos lettuce. All cut into dices.

The dressing will be Japanese dressing. You can you any dressings you want. It's really flexible!

Finally, add in the steamed wakame and tofu into your salad and add in some almond nibs and the dressing!

It's so refreshing dish!

Hope you like it!Have a nice day!
